Default Silver Anniversary of "Pine tar incident".

I'm sure most of you have seen the footage of George Brett rushing like a mad man out of the visitors dugout at Yankee Stadium to confront the home plate Umpire after being called out for having pine tar too high on his bat. When it happened I was 10 years old and my relatives from Kansas City were up visiting. My Aunt phoned home and my uncle told her about the pine tar incident. She relayed the story to us, and later that night we watched it on the sports highlights.

If there is one player that I hate more than any other in baseball history, it's George Brett by a mile. I'm sure he was upset, but acted like a complete tool and looked like he was ready to cry. What a ######. He had a similar outbreak against the Yankees IIRC where he slid into 3rd(?) and came up swinging like a man-man..

Way to go Billy!!

George, TOOL.

Complete opposite for me, he was my favorite player as a kid, didn't like the Royals but Brett was awesome.

MLB should have been more concerned about steroids than pine tar.
