No big loss to me. "suprnohhvahhh"... was the first to popularize torrents and brought it mainstream. If I did find a torrent there I could expect speeds of many 5k down since noone who uses the site has the decency to actually upload. It really was the AOL of torrent sites.

it has diminished in recent times but one thing is certain - they had a buttkicking april fools' gag. almost as good as maddox on xmission.

newsgroups have always been pretty good.

i'm sure there are dozens more sites to fill the void left by supernova, quite honestly i haven't been on it in months anyway

You mean the April Fool's gag where they redesigned their page with Japanese and claimed most of their users were Japanese? it was an april fools joke.

it's kind of a tongue-in-cheek thing, being that no-one is ever fooled by them. why not have some fun with it?

I thought the SupraNova prank was pretty unbelievable at the time which made me sad when people were actually falling for it.

As for me, generally speaking, I simply play a jerk on the internet. Since you Mr.MastadonFarm, seem to follow me around, you of all people should know I'm not always being serious, and mostly trying to get a laugh.
