Any interest in a hockey tournament in Canmore?
The HNA has a 3 day hockey tournament at the end of August (friday, Saturday, Sunday). I'm thinking of putting my team in it, but I've already had 4 or 5 guys say they won't be able to make it, and I'm guessing that number will rise.
So I just want to gauge interest on CP. What we would do is borrow the jersyes off the guys who aren't coming and I'd enter the team I have now, that way we wouldn't have to go out and buy practise jerseys, and get them numbered up, for a 3 day tournament.
The cost is $975 per team, so with 13 or 14 guys it'll be around $70. We can get accomadations, but that typically doubles the cost, so usually teams just try and camp near canmore, pending whether the weather weathers our ability to do so.
It's usually a pretty fun weekend of getting blasted every night and then trying to play more than 1 hockey game the next day.
