Default Green River playing in Seattle this weekend

Anyone going to be in Seattle this coming weekend? 2 day Sub-pop 20th anniversary show.,..sounds like a cant miss thing if you are there.

Oh man!

I would see that in a heart beat if I could. For those that don't know them, they were the precursor band to both Mudhoney and Pearl Jam, and were huge in bringing in grunge. Some of their stuff you can tell is still dabbling in the glam rock that was big in the late 80s, but they bridged the gap. I have to admit, I didn't know about them until after I was into Mudhoney at which time they were already defunct.

The Dry as a Bone/Rehab Doll split is still getting regular play on my stereo.

interesting lineup...Eric's trip, seaweed, the vaselines, mudhoney all bands I used to listen to. I'll actually be about half the way to Seattle this weekend anyways but not sure I can convince anyone to finish the voyage

I almost wish I hadn't seen this post... as I am now beyond jealous of anyone who makes it to this.

A friend of mine's band (Dog Day) are actually touring with Eric's Trip right now. They just played Cowtown last week I believe?
