Holy music downloads Batman!

I fully admit my love-in with everything Apple, but even I was stunned to read over 200 million songs have been downloaded from itunes. I'm so glad it is available in Canada now!

I got a mini for the wife. It sure is easy to use. The things are selling like hotcakes. I would recommend buying apple stock.
Where did you get it? I'm trying to find them for Christmas gifts and they're sold out all over the place.

I wonder how many of those downloads were part of the free Pepsi music thingy they did a few months ago?

In any case, if my Dell DJ peters out again (I'm on the third replacement inside of 1 year) I may give in and pick up in iPod. Problem is, I hate to waste the excellent software I use with the DJ. It won't interface with apple.

My brother is a UofC alumni member, I assume I could use him as a buyer there?

ipod mini's

This is the webpage for my local Mac store here in Ontario. Says they have some in stock, might be worth a phone call to inquire about shipping and whatnot. Maybe find a specialized Mac retailer in Calgary, they may have some....

You can also try www.macoutpost.on.ca

Another local Mac store. They have a toll free number if you want to inquire about availability and shipping.

There is a Mac store on MacLeod Tr, just north of the Bernard Calebot (sp?) chocolate place.

I can't find the name, and google is being retarted. Check the yellow pages, i am sure it is in there.

I agree but they didn't have any of the 20 giggers left, plus we're not music w**kers with 4 trillion CD's, plus there is a tetris game that my wife loves.

The mini has about 50-60 albums on it so far, a 5 hour audiobook and it's only about 3/4th's full. [/b][/quote]

Keeeeerist, I went to Costco this morning.....screw that place. It opened at 10AM and it was lined up (I would guess at least 50 people in line, and another 100 cars pulling into the lot). It was absolute bedlam. I'll pay double price before I go back there.

I had a panic attack and left.

I acutally saw an article on iTunes a while back and it pretty much said that the only reason that Apple runs it is to sell iPods. They pretty much make no money on the store. Kinda interesting.
