The difference between this and mass suicides is that instead of weeding out the idiots, more are being created. When I read things like this, I wish there was a God, but then I realize that there just can't be.

Why? God does NOT guarantee goodness. He offer choices and consequences. These children made them. So have you. Now they and you will live with them.
Thing is...what if 6 of 16 bring up there child in a loving home? They beat the odds!
Classic case of failed parenting. Likely a partial result of the state interfering in a parents rights to discipline their children, now the state will need to pay the price for its intrusions.

Jumped to a pretty big conclusion.
Do you have any facts to back that up, or did you pull it out your butt?

I watched the news when this was first broadcast and they blamed the following people:
Hollywood
Jamie-Lynn Spears
Television
Music
There is no mention of the parents. They have to bear some of the responsibility because these girls obviously thought it is acceptable to get preggers w/o thinking of the consequences.
Hell yeah blame the parents. Get more involved in your kids life and try to teach them some intelligence.

I'm really not sure what to think of this. On one hand, I feel kinda bad for the guys (the ones that haven't committed crimes) in this story since they were somewhat hustled into fathering a child. On the other hand, if they didn't want this to happen they should have taken all precautions anyway.
I guess it is their choice in the end...I think it would be interesting to see how these kids turn out.
And did anyone notice the part where they said this was 4 times the normal rate of pregnancy? That means there are usually 4 girls getting pregnant a year. I don't recall that being normal when I went to high school.
Do you have any facts to back that up, or did you pull it out your butt?
Sorry, I guess I forgot to use the word LIKELY - oh wait, I didnt.
Do you have another LIKELY reason why 7 girls whored themselves out to get pregnant?
