Anyone else going? I won tickets this morning on X92, super stoked! I was going to buy, but I wasn't looking forward to pulling $85-$125 out of my depleted bank account, even for a kick ass rock show.

Have to say I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. STP were one of my faves growing up, and Three Days Grace has been one of my favorite emo bands of the last decade. I'm familiar with East Van's Pride Tiger... excellent band and those of you going that have never heard of them will probably be impressed. The Fratellis are pretty cool too so I hear.

That was some good luck on your part - awesome! The Constantines put on a great show, and I personally almost shelled out just to see Stars but I'm going to Sled Island next weekend. Should be a good show.

I can't go, seeing as I had sex once back in '92 or '93, so I don't think they'll let me in. Should be a pretty awesome show though

I'm heading down...a buddy of mine scored VIP tix, whatever that means. Probably a private beer garden the size of an office cubicle. Maybe I can get close enough to score some Heroin off STP

Not another band on the entire bill that I care for, I'm actually really pissed off that I'll have to sit there and hear a set by 3 Days Grace. Barf.

I am going. To the one in T.O. The one with Oasis, Bloc Party, Foo Fighters, and Stereophonics.

I am a born and bred hip hop head, and even I am excited as hell for this one. Just booked our hotel via Priceline for that weekend also- the Westin Harbour Castle eight downtown for $104/night. Lowest advertised room rate for thst same weekend was $279/night. Gonna be one helluva party, and how sweet is Oasis gonna be.

Wow, great shows by both STP and The Flaming Lips. STP's set was worth the price of admission alone!

Phenomenal, unfreaking awesome! This one will take awhile to get over experiencing. STP STOLE. THE. SHOW. Period. I think I'm over three days grace though, weak set. Flaming Lips, excellent. Fratellis, good show early in the day. The girls.... wow....

But yeah, Stone Temple Pilots shattered my expectations.

Man Scott Weiland sure looked out of it after the show.

I found the crowd to be very tame, and you could see it in Weiland, he looked very uninspired up there, unlike in other festival performances I was watching on youtube. Although I guess it's a two way street.

Face to face was my fave. STP was a bag of crap, only IMO. We walked out on their set.

Overall though, there wasn't a whole lot of virgins there.

Who's playing today besides The hip and Matt Good? I've been invited backstage again, but I'm at work til about 5pm, I'm assuming The Hip would be the closer, so I'll probably only get to see them and whichever band is on right before them.

The Flaming Lips where just awesome! Easily the best set I have ever seen

I was just blown away, I came in with high expectations and they just surpassed them in every way

They made my festival today could be awful and I would still be satisfied
