Default The "double take" thread

Have you guys ever watched that dog training mexican dude? There's the one technique, where he gets the owner to walk the dog past something that the dog freaks out at over and over.

Well I went for a run tonight, and a lady was doing this in the middle of the street with her dog, but the weird part is she had a cat eating from a bowl of catfood as the "problem" that the dog had to walk by. i just found it weird that she had this whole thing set-up in the middle of the freakin road, lol.

Cesar Milan.

The guy's amazing and really knows how to handle and train dogs. A lot of the time, you can see that the dogs are however they are because of their idiotic owners, but regardless, Cesar always has them under complete control in under 5 minutes. Great stuff to see for dog lovers.

I actually really like that show. I'm a bit of an evolution nut and he seems to really focus on their evolved behaviours ... i find it interesting.

and if south park has taught us anything, its that his techniques can also be used effectively on disobedient problem children

"Dogs show their dominance by nipping each other on the neck, but it works equally well on a child. I just use two fingers, nip at the child's neck, doesn't hurt the child, just let him know I am dominant."

Hah.

I went to "Woofstock" last weekend here in Toronto (apparently, the largest outdoor dog fair in North America) and saw some dude with an awesome t-shirt that was simply white letters that read "Pack Leader" on a black background.

I'm a pretty open girl, but I get whiplash whenever I see a cross-dressing guy... "Did that chick have a five-o'clock shadow? And why is she walking like there's something between her legs?"

Replace pack with fudge... Pack Leader=Fudge Leader
(I caught that one too... he should have said put Fudge in front and then he would be a Fudge Pack Leader...)
