Default Anyone going out jamming tonight?

Just wondering if any other musicians on CP might be heading out to a jam somewhere tonight? My list for locations on a Thursday includes:

-The Blind Beggar (Macleod & 50th Ave SW)
-Dog & Duck (block south of the beggar)
-Chelsea's (200 52nd Street NE)
-Vern's Tavern (622 8th Ave SW)

If someone is heading to somewhere that isn't one of these four let me know! I may even hit up Chelsea's although it is an hour on the 23 bus. Ive never been, and thats always appealing despite the distance.

Anyway, anyone else jamming tonight?

Do any of those places allow for playing drums?

Ooh, yeah! All right!
We're jammin':
I wanna jam it wid you.
We're jammin', jammin',
And I hope you like jammin', too.

We're jammin' (jammin', jammin', jammin')
And we're jammin' in the name of the Lord;
We're jammin' (jammin', jammin', jammin'),
We're jammin' right straight from Yah.

Both the Beggar and the Dog and Duck supply drums I know for sure. The Beggar's are electronic though, except for the Hi-Hats.

EDIT: Hey troutman! You gonna come?

I'll be at the Blind Beggar tonight watching kermitology and his band rocking out.

If they do well, chances are when they come back on a fri/sat/sun for a gig I'll be their engineer.

Which is why I try to avoid jamming at the Beggar on a Thursday.

I'm not that good, yet.

My Master jams around town - at the Shamrock and King's Head, I think.

Who is your master, and what side of the force is he on?

That's funny i'm @ the Shamrock almost every weekend... scuzzly little place, but damn, great music. Never attended the live jam though, just usually go check out who's playing.

So what's the story Troutman you learning to play something?

"Always two there are, no more, no less: a master and an apprentice."

His stage name is Fingo, or Skylark. Played with the Vicious Fish among others.
