Whew! That was a very important win and evens the series at two games a piece heading back to Carolina. Now the best of 3 series with the Canes holding home ice advantage...yikes!
Osgood played a solid game after blowing hard in game 3, stopping 19 of the 20 shots he faced and picking up the 1st star. Belfour still at an unplayable condition rating is a major concern as we head into game 5. Really need him to get back up to 100% after this next game regardless of a win or loss. ) as he's been for the most part, just hasn't proved he can play solid hockey multiple games in a row.
Dougs observation was bang on, but after giving up 7 goals in game 3, I didn't feel like anyone deserved a rest. It's balls to the wall for the Sharks squad cuz if we lose knowing we left something on the table I don't think I could forgive myself.
