Sylvan Lake Campgrounds

I am looking to go camping this coming weekend near Sylvan lake and I am wondering if anyone knows of a good place that to go. We are a group of about 6 20-something year olds. any advice?

Jarvis Bay - went there a few years ago and it was great

Indeed, Jarvis Bay has my approval as well. We were stunned when we showed up. They raked the bloody ground where the tent goes! Probably the first camping sleep where I didn't have a tree root lodged in my back.

Jarvis Bay is about the best one to go tenting at. Being the youngin's you are being closer to town may be something you'd like though so you can hit the bar. Years ago I was living with one of my bosses for a couple weeks until I could find my own place in Sylvan to live and he lived at the corner of Hiway 20 and the turn off to Jarvis Bay Campground. I let his dog out and his dog got loose, so we went to investigate and noticed that his fence had been taken out by a car and that there were tire tracks all the way through his yard. We found a piece of tail light close to the fence and so he went over to the camp ground at Jarvis Bay....and lo and behold, a group of 20 year old punks smashed up car was there and it was a perfect match. Moral of the story....Dont be drinking in town and than try to drive back to that camp ground.
