Default Paul Bernardo upset at being called a liar

Anyone watch this yet? I'm watching it now... he's taken offence that some police department called him a liar to the press.

He says things like, "Yeah I made a mistake 17 years ago... but you guys are making me out to be a liar."

A mistake?

lol... a mistake?

He's delusional, in addition to being a serial killer.

Why is it we don't have the death penalty again?

There's a reason the guy is locked in solitary for the rest of his days. And I for one am glad he's there.

edit: And the Capital Punishment can of worms is opened....

Wow. Uh, okay Paul, you're not a liar. You're a raving lunatic psychopath who will fry in hell when your time comes. Is that better?

Who cares what he thinks?

He also thinks murder was a 'little mistake' and that the colour blue smells like velvet.

Hes nuts. Why did they even ask him anything anyways? They should have put a mic in front of him, asked him a question, and then beaten him senseless with it while repeating the phrase:

"Silly murderer, opinions are for the unincarcerated."

I really don't care what Bernardo thinks or does in his time in prison. What I do care about, is Karla Homolka being a free woman, and what she does with her spare time. I'll be pissed if she does so much as jaywalk.

A mistake? Is that what he calls it?

I agree with the death penalty supporters. No room for people like this on this planet.

Death is to good for this scumbag piece of garbage. I actually don't know what isn't to good for Bernardo, I really mean that. I just hope at the end of the day that whatever happens the victims families are able to feel as though justice has been served, if that is possible considering the joke of a sentence that Holmolka got.

Didn't Holmolka get a lesser sentence because she testified against Bernardo?

That and her lawyer and Homolka hid evidence in the form of tapes made of the murders. The courts accepted a plea bargain due to lack of concrete evidence that Holmolka willingly participated in the murder of her sister and the other girls.

Is he still alive? Can't they just
let him mix and mingle with the general prison population a little bit.

Yeah, Homolka got a hell of a deal out of all this.

I'm not one for the death penalty for a variety of reasons, but it would be an easy way out for him anyway. He's going to spend the next 50 years in the slammer until he croaks as a forgotten old man without a family or anyone who wants anything to do with him.

I guess it's not really "weird" considering who he is, but the weird thing I see with the "I'm not a liar" statement is that he actually thinks he has a reputation to protect.

Like he believes someone out there would be thinking "I knew Paul was a murdering rapist pedophile, but at least he was a man of his word".

I don't agree that he should be executed, but I do agree that he should not have a television.

I should clarify. I am not really a proponent for Capital Punishment in general, but cases like this, I genuinely wish we had something for extreme cases.

Karla Homolka is a free woman, and has a child of her own now, just in case anyone wasn't aware. She has a kid. Child murderers, at the very least, should not be allowed to reproduce and be around children. I'm sorry, but they just shouldn't.

Agreed. No reason to seperate him, just put him in general population. If he isn't killed, perhaps he would learn what it was like first hand to become someone's plaything.

It worked for Dahlmer in the states. Cured him real quick.
