Default Haka- New Zealand All Blacks and Tonga response

I love hockey, but one of the cool things about
other sports is the way they get hyped for a game.
Rugby is awesome, and this just adds to that atmosphere.
It is so cool...

Having seen one of these live, it's pretty cool.

I cant tell you how many times I've seen that, but its awesome every time. The Haka is a Mauri tribal war dance, as is the Tonga Sipi Tau.

I mean, how intimidating is that? Those guys like batshat insane. If I were in the lineup on the other team I'd be the first one putting my hand in the air:

"Hey coach, I think I pulled something, get me outta here."

Haha, I'd love to see what the results of that basketball game ended up being. 110-56 for the white team I predict.

I wouldn't expect anything less then a fake injury from a soccer player.

Did you watch those psychos? I played Rugby for years as a kid and have the scars and injuries and to prove it. NO way do I play against crazies like them.

It isnt faking, its self preservation.

The crazy dance didn't do anything to prevent Australia from kicking the crap out of them in last weeks test...

Every team loses games, no matter how good. NZ and Australia are pretty evenly matched in Rugby usually.

Christ that thing is intense...I met a couple girls from NZ and the haka came up. Apparently it's really revered, and only guys are supposed to do it (that's what she said anyways). We got her to do maybe three seconds worth of it and then she wouldn't do any more.

You can put me in the camp of not ever wanting to deal with those guys.

Rugby Union - great sport, great supporters. I must try to get to a Mavericks game - I have really missed watching rugger since I came to Canada. Even though I am an England supporter at heart the All Blacks are the greatest team ever - very consistent.

Except in the WC, when they always fall after looking invincible.

The Mavs are playing this weekend. They played today and they play again on Monday.

Wow. It looks exceptionally lame when not done by the rugby players.
