Immunotec
Anyone know much about this stuff? I'm mainly interested in the Platinum version I supppose. I have a bad, bad, back and apparently this stuff boosts your immune system and just makes you heal as a result.
I'm not a doctor, and I don't know that there are any here. It costs about $100 for a month supply....so I guess even anecdotal evidence would be good to hear before I take the plunge!
Thanks!

One click into the site and my alarm bells are already ringing...

I went to the site and felt the same way...but then a guy I know has some serious pain issues and swears by the stuff...so I figured I should ask around a little bit. (He's not a distributor in case that was you're next thought!)
Fotze those pills don't work, but the creams enlarge your hands....or so I've heard.

Can't find any studies or anything on it, looks like it flies under the supplement-so-we-don't-have-to-prove-anything flag.
I'm curious as to how boosting your immune system would encourage healing.. I'm not a doctor either, but the immune system combats pathogens so unless your back problem is a bacteria or something how would it help? A back problem usually involves muscles and ligaments and such doesn't it?

That whole boosting the immune system and allowing you to heal is my take on the whole thing...it could be totally wrong. Its just kind of how I surmised it was alleged to work.

Isn't it supposed to shrink your hands, so your Johnson looks bigger by comparison. Larger hands would do the opposite.

Heh, well you know what they say about anecdotal evidence. Some people swear that rubbing a glue stick on their foreheads helps their headaches.
I think there's probably much better places to spend your $100.
Then again, if a placebo works, it's probably worth the $100

Lol, on the product page, they make a bunch of claims about what the product does, each with a * beside it. The *?

Sounds like snake oil to me. Just be sure to buy the official Immunotec mixing cups so you dont lose out on the toxin purging, anti-oxidant accelerating, buzzword generating goodness:

Sound like standard vitamins you can get down the street...
That platinum stuff has creatine ... so should help build muscles. So just go to the gym, build up your core muscles to protect your back.
