Default Where to buy bulk ice on the weekend?

Have a party coming up near Okotoks next weekend, anyone know where to buy bulk ice on the weekend?

I know about Arctic Glacier in the NE but they aren't open on the weekend.

I was thinking of going to the Superstore Liquor store but that may require a bank loan.

I've never seen ice at Costco?

May have found the answer, looks like Real Canadian Wholesale Club might have it.

Kinda miss the "simple question" thread.

The husky truck stop on 32nd and Barlow has the big bags of arctic glacier ice.
You can also call Article Glacier and they should be able to tell you where they supply their big bulk ice around the Okotoks area

For just keeping containers cool: freeze pop and milk jugs full of water. Great for coolers.

For ice drinks. freeze in freezer and break into ziplocks/bags as they finish.

Ice cube trays are like 50cents, bagged ice is 3-5$ a peice

Thanks for the suggestions but I'd need about 100lbs so making it in my own freezer or buying small bags isn't really a good option.

Costco also sold 20 lb bags. Even if they are just 10 lb bags you can easily pick up 10 bags. We picked up 6 bags this last weekend. They had a huge freezer full of bags of ice.

I will bring some ice if you invite me. I will be respectful and treat your guests courteously and will also talk about ice on occasion.

if you plan on inviting any guys who are "hopefuls" for team canada, i have heard that you apparently can not put them on the ice due to the high cost of insurance.
