Yes, and how will the proposed criminal charges turn it into something beautiful exactly?

LOL this is hilarious. If a jersey won't work, I am sure they can bury some little knick knacks and other stuff. hahaha stupid Yankees

Yes and their nice, holier-than-thou gesture is negated by their litigiousness.

I can't see any charges actually happening. As steinbrenner (sp?) said though, he hopes his co-workers beat the (expletive) out of him.
Is this going to result in workers getting searched before work and over all tighter security though? will anything happen?
Will this jersey go in the baseball HOF? The coin the Canadians put in the ice during the olympics is in the hockey HOF.
PS inferno, they already found the jersey.

Wow, could the Yankees be any fuller of themselves? They are practically comparing this guy to the 9/11 terrorists.

i heard the sw team buried a jersey of ours under the central teams diamonds.
this is pretty ridiculous from both sides i think. Its a freakin game, and its a jersey that isnt effecting anyone. Waste of money for the yankees to dig it up.

The guy who buried it was stupid to talk so soon. Should have waited awhile. Very funny to see how ridiculously superstitious they are.

I was going to post this on Friday but the Yankees down played it saying it wasn't possible. The guy that buried it and then bragged about it is an idiot. Should have taken that one to the grave. Or at least waited a year or two.

They've got their knickers in a knot over a jersey being built into the structure? Wow ... they clearly have no idea about all the truly unsavory things that get put into walls, under foundations, etc., on every construction project. A jersey is nothing.

Maybe he buried other Jerseys but only talked about this one. He gets his moment of glory and at least one Jersey buried in the new stadium.

I find it kind of sad actually
The Red Sox and there childish curses, which was more of an excuse for there lack of success until 2004
The Yankees don't need to get caught up in useless curses

They don't need to get caught up. But they did. Why jackhammer it out if they were not worried about it?

Who is up for putting a Iginla Jersey under the new oilers arena? Start building up a resume for a concrete pourer.
