I don't know about you guys but i have more wrong number phone calls from people in and around Toronto then i do from Calgary. Is operating a phone really that hard?

It's quarter to 4 in the morning and for some reason you're calling alberta? Congratulation randoms Calgarians on the Flames making the playoffs?

I find I get a lot of wrong numbers from the States. I always seem to get someone that says, "I called Canada?!"

I always get ones where somebody says something in Chinese (or some Asian language..) and I go "huh?" and they say something, and hang up.

Then they call back a minute later..

for what its worth , my wifes mother's area code in Calgary is (403) , when i lived in oklahoma city my area code was (405)...... even on a side note , when was 13 i got my own personal line at my house my number was 691-1911 which is the number 6 and 911 twice.. 911 is the emergency number obviously. Well Many times i would talk to friends and they would say ummm i gotta go , the police just showed up . they had accidentely missed the 6 and called 911 lol

Wow man, they should not be giving that number out. Lol.

I also get the chinese people. I even understand them, but still funny.

Hmm, must be my person's boyfriend or husband or something...I don't think mine has ever been male.

These phone calls always wake me up too. It wouldn't be right if they called at a decent hour, it has to be something like 5AM so that it ruins your night.

I used to get a slow talking spanish lady hard of hearing, on my cell while framing houses. Not the easiest calls to understand.

The last 4 digits of my house number are 7676, which spells PORN. I've only had a few prank calls asking if " ...this was 2__- PORN?... Really?<snicker>, well who could I call then?...<laughs,hangs up>...'
It wasn't that annoying, as I hadn't realized that my number was so hot, until the first call...

I have a normal number, but about 8 months back had a hispanic fellow who'd call me twice a day for about a week. He demanded to speak with "Jessica", going so far as to threaten me for hiding her and sleeping with her. So suffice to say, idiocy is international. Just dont answer numbers you don't know.

My roomie's number is the same thing. It's pretty sweet lol.

I would get continuous but random calls on my cell from the same heavily accented East Indian / Pakistani fellow. The closest I've been able to figure out is that his son has a number that is one digit off from mine, and he seems to have trouble dialing the right number. I just ignore him now.

I had a guy phone my work number multiple times a day for a week straight looking for his copy of dance dance revolution he had ordered off the internet.. After telling him 5 times I didnt know a thing about it, I got pissed and started answering with are you F*ing serious? How many times do you need to get the wrong number?

I always get Chinese people calling my cell phone. I think it's all the 8s in my number. That's what I get for having such a fobby number.

In college, I had a guy call and ask for me. Then he asked for my daughter's hand in marriage.

Poor dude had the right first name (mine), and the number was correct, but I didn't have a daughter. Took me a bit to convince him. Still feel bad for him. That was probably a real tough phone call for him to make.

Wouldn't have believed it, if it didn't happen to me.
