In case you weren't aware, Junofest is this coming weekend. Great opportunity to see some Canadian and local artists. $30 wristband gets you into any show all weekend. I'm picking mine up today.

I'll be at the Country Music Salute to Alberta at the Jubilee on Thursday night.

I won't be able to get to any shows this weekend but I'm gonna throw a shout out for Danny Michel. Saw him last weekend and he was great. He layers all his songs with a loop pedal (I think that's what it's called) and is a pretty good guitarist to boot. Check him out at Broken City if you get a chance.

I'll be at the underground sat night to support my friends band. They are first ones to play the underground that night. Last time for a while they will be playing in calgary, as the lead guitarist just had a baby.

But if you like metal, come check them out.
