Another iPhone to Canada Rumor...And it has nothing to do with Rogers

How sweet would this be...

AT&T and Tmobile are both rumored to be partners with Niagara Networks Inc. who are currently bidding on Canadian spectrum.
Either firm may be backing an auction application lodged earlier this month by unknown entity Niagara Networks Inc., which has no current operations in Canada. The company surprised industry observers two weeks ago when it appeared on an Industry Canada list of applicants for the spectrum auction beginning on May 27. Niagara Networks has applied to bid on all the spectrum being auctioned, requiring a letter of credit for $881 million.

I know, it's just a rumor site...But the Niagara Networks bid is no rumor.

Only problem is "Niagara" doesn't sound like something that would be coming west too quickly.

Rogers doesnt need the iPhone, they just need to slightly modify a data plan.

The outrageous data charges is the only thing that prevents me from getting this.

Only problem is "Niagara" doesn't sound like something that would be coming west too quickly.

They HAVE to be a national carrier to be bidding in the auction, it is one of the requirements of the auction.
