Other than the last two days of rain, we've had it similar. Our temperatures are now lowered to the low 80's but it is so humid it'll feel like the high 90's on the weekend.

I love it!

Yeah the humidity has been the problem here as well...though its down some today, the temperature is way higher than it had been.

We had days last week that felt like 40C or 104F. It was hot. It was only in the low 80's yesterday and rained but it felt like a sauna. It felt about 95. Muggy!

I agree . . . .

It seemed like every day in July when I was toddling home the thermometer in the vehicle was saying something between 31 C (88 Farenheit) and 36 C (97 Farenheit).

I know I was out riding the bike the other day at 34 C (93 Farenheit), walking a bunch of miles at Chain Lakes with the mutts when it said 34 C when I got back to the truck and I was sitting at the Okotoks Dawgs diamond in 34 C heat a few times.

I think the humidity picture might be a LITTLE different in the Carolinas though.

Suck it up Tranny!!!

I was freakin' fryin' at the Dawgs game . . .

Anywhere from 40 - 70 F....as a norm.

I have seen 60+ degrees on Xmas day and have also seen snow fall that day. Its completely hit or miss. I will say that there has never been more than a 2 week stretch that I can recall where one couldnt hit the links if they so chose to. That stretch coming this past March where it was unseasonably cold for about 10 days, though little snow or precipitation of any sort came with it. It killed all kinds of flora and whatnot though and has led to black bears being spotted in the city foraging for food. There natural supply getting frozen before it was edible.

THE time of year to visit however is mid to late October when the leafs change...its astonishing the colors that you will see in this part of the world.

Only problem is neither the Seahawks nor the Flames are playing there then. (Yep, hopefully doin' the road trip.- And yes, I am aware that Charlotte and Raleigh are 300 km apart from each other.)

I drove from Calgary to Toronto just over a week ago. Hot weather everywhere but I've never wanted to pass out like I did when we hit Swift Current. The car said it was 41 degrees C outside! I snapped a picture at 40 C, hottest I've ever felt.

Here, we've had maybe a week of summer weather. Right now it's +17 and going up to 19 later. I don't like it real hot but it would be nice to have some steady temperatures in the 20s.

You're from Asheville? I'm sorry. I spent two days there, that was more then enough for me. Did you ever check out a Smoke game?

47C in Vegas was ugly.

That east coast humidity blows. I rode 70km in 32C heat with 98% humidity in Richmond, VA, that was messed up, too. Luckily, I left in June, can't imagine the summers there.

I'd love to experience Asheville. Tsali is on my list of places to mountain bike.
