Hello. We set up a twitter account for work, but are constantly bombarded with this being posted on our behalf:

Does twitter have a "report post" function?

Yeah, they have a spam account that you can report it to, which we did, but no luck yet. Updates are happening once every few hours. I'm a total twitter newb.

Well, changing the password is my first defense. See if that does anything. Reading up on it, people say that you had to sign up for it? But no one here did...

I would leave a little tweet that addresses the problem, and explains that the twitter will be on hiatus until it is resovled. Then wait for the problem to be solved. People should be understanding of that.

Is it actually being posted from your account, or is it just showing up in your timeline?

What's your twitter ID? I can look at your followers and who you're following... I don't want your password, just want to be able to get a better idea what's going on.

Can't you block it? I have had a bunch of ... well, "sexy girls"... wanting to follow me.

I just block them; then I don't get their constant sexual tweets.

Change the password immediately!

Someone probably signed up for that service using the accounts information and they are now using it as a spam bot.

Yep, sorry I took so long to respond after you PM'd me your account id. The llama is right, change your password and maybe even start restricting who can log into the account internally.

I can almost guarantee you that someone there signed up for the service being spamed about.
