Grad Quotes...Got Any Good Ones?
So I was in the School Sucks thread, thinking about school...and I came to the realization that I'm graduating this year... (Shocking I know)
And I gots to thinkin' bout what I'm going to say at grad. I think I might end up emceeing, so do you guys have any witty quotes for me for both that and for the whole write in the yearbook thing? (I'm looking to you Locke and CC)

A witty saying proves nothing?
You're going to have to be more specific. HS or University? Do you want people to remember you forever for being hilarious/intelligent or jaw-droppingly obscene?
What are your feelings towards the "helicopter?"

High school. No, I don't want to be obscene. Hilarious and intelligent would be nice. And good Lord man...the helicopter? Jeez...although I would be remembered for a good long time, don't think anybody would be real pleased with me.
But yeah, I just don't want to, you know, suck. The few grads I've been to, some of the emcees/speech people have been really, really bad. I don't want to be really, really bad.

then the best advice... keep it short and to the point. nobody cares what you have to say. the parents don't care and are just there cause they have to be. the grads don't care and just want to get to the party afterwards.

My principal took his acoustic to the stage and played some weird religious song he wrote, something about us staying in the light of God.
Good thing my friend and I had a flask of jack.

not really a quote but i left quite a legacy at my grad ceramony..
I got nice and hammered before i walked on stage to accept my diploma, I threw up all over the stage and was escorted to the bathroom with the help of my Principal and another person.
Before that i guess i was yelling obscene things at people as they were walking across the stage..
The worst part about this is that my parents witnessed the whole thing..

Say the following. High school has taught me a few things:
1. You can't get to the top by sitting on your bottom.
2. To those who graduated with awards and distinction, I say well done. To those of you who got C's, well we can look forward to one day being the sole individual who leads this great country of ours.
3. Procrastination is like masterbation, sure it feels good but in the end your just f***ing yourself!
4. You're not trying if you're not cheating. The Science Department is welcome to come by my house after graduation to pick up the final exams for Grade 12 Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
5. And finally....grades and academics are important, but high school sets a foundation where relationships are built well into the future that will provide life lasting memories. Well I guess on second thought some already ended in the past, right ladies?
