+2 for Olsez today. Puts him in the lead on the Jets for goals with SIXTEEN! LOL Man, worst CPHL team ever. And not only does he lead the team in goals, but also in the minus category! Unreal.

There will be blood.....Tortarella you're demoted to associate coach for the rest of the year. This one is 100% on him. He will be axed at the end of the year and replaced by someone who is not an idiot.

Even game shot wise (25 to 23 for the yotes) but pulled out a 4-1 win. Holmqvist was solid in net and the top line was huge accounting for 3 of the 4 goals. They were just too good for the yotes.
1. PANTHERS, GABORIK 43 (STRAKA, RICHARDS), 03:16
4. PANTHERS, GABORIK 44 (STRAKA, RICHARDS), 19:08
5. PANTHERS, RICHARDS 27 (STRAKA, GABORIK), 14:12
Alexeev picked up the other goal for the Panthers. PK went 100%, powerplay went 0%, so there is always room for improvement. Good win overall.
Still 4 points back from Bruins, and should be a matter of a win or two till we clinch a playoff spot.
5th win in a row, and currently 7-1-2 in last 10.

Great game by the Thrashers tonight and the most complete game of the year beating the Predators 9-0 and outshooting them 38-19. Sydor with the hat-trick and Brind'Amour with two goals. Atlanta also went 3/4 on the PP. The 3rd Thrashers goal was their 300th of the CPHL season. Atlanta now plays TB tomorrow.

Stupid Rangers coming back to beat me after I laid a whooping on him the other night.
Nice way to repay me for doing your lines Jeff!
On to the game. What can you say, when you get beat by a great like Martin Gerber all you can do is tip your hat and say "he was the better man tonight." the Flyers offense returned to its inept ways and failed to score on their 29 shots. Dominic Hasek was good stopping 20 of the 21 shots he faced but it wasn't enough as the collective sack of crap in front of him were to busy checking out the hotties in the stands, thats the last time GM moon invites his lady friends to the game!
It was an opportunity to out some ground between us and some teams behind us in the standings, as well as put us one spot up in the standings. Hopefully, this team can show better resolve and fortitude if faced with the same opportunity or challenge in the future.

Wow. Just a horrible, horrible display from Nashville tonight. I suppose I'm happy that we got away enough shots to win this. Koivu goes down for a week now...man things are bleak in Dixie!
