I hope this leads to $1 and $2 bills being put into circulation. It would be nice to not get a handfull of coins everytime you pay for something with cash.

Aren't they pulling the $5 bill, in favor of a coin?

That is freaking incredible. I had no idea Australia was already doing it. So much win.

I'm down with plastic money. I was amazed at the playoff pool draft we had someone paid their part of the bill with a 10$ bill from 1977. That money was lucky to be around and in good condition.

My step dad has a dollar bill from the 1870's that has been with his family for 3 generations but I'll never see it on my display shelf even though I know one of his son's would sell it to the highest bidder for smokes and booze.

As long as the keep they all the bills the same size. I don't know about you guys but I hate the Euro which has a different size for each bill.

Completely agree. If they can just keep the same system of differentiating bills that we have now, only in plastic, I'll be happy.
States money sucks too as it all looks the same.

Will no places accept the new 100s right away? Seems like if you have a hundred dollar bill you would starve to death at this point.
