Tom Green's House Tonight

Anyone else seen this? It's on right now on the comedy channel, and what a load of garbage it is. There isn't one good thing about this show. Tom appears to have no desire to be there, he has some lame ass band dressed up in weird costumes...

Anyone know anything about this? Anyone actually like it?

It's a bit hit and miss. The odd thing is that Tom Green made his name by being such a complete loon but on this show he is so laid back and mellow - very strange.

I actually don't mind it from time to time depending on the guest. I like the fact that most of the show is not prepared. I think modern talk shows are too scripted.

I was going to say hit and miss also. Tom Green isn't all that interesting, but he gets some pretty decent guests. Using Skype to allow people to call in is a pretty neat idea too.

This is something completely different. It's a different brand of suck entirely. I've only seen one show and couldn't believe how terrible it was. Whether you loved or hated his old antics, at least they were something.

Tom Green was a classic example of getting too popular. His early stuff, when he was still living with his parents approached ground breaking. Then he got picked up by the American channel and got waaaay over exposed. Then he dropped the single worst movie I've ever seen on the world, Freddy Got Fingered. Its no wonder to me why people don't like him. But I can still think back to the time when he painted his parent's living plaid. Or his Juno nominated rap song. He is certainly talented and a small scale. What we're seeing now is a more mature mellow Tom Green. His show isn't great, but it does have its charm.

I've never understood Tom Green's popularity. His old humour largely consisted of making goofy faces while constantly repeating the same nonsense, which I thought was idiotic. I don't find his new show funny either. Plus he looks terrible. Does he not sleep?

He's so boring on this show. His voice is monotone and his facial expression never changes. It's like a zombie invaded the old Tom Green's body. He doesn't ever TRY to be funny???
