Favourite M&M's colour?
Why did you vote?
I have read every parties website, their political views, objectives, promises, and intentions. Further I read every candidates profile in my riding to educated myself the best I can on each and every party. Yet I couldn't give two damns who wins in my area, or who wins the majority of seats. I truly feel that my life, or my community will not change for better or worse regardless of who is elected. See my problem is not that I don't care, I do, I just don't believe there is a significant difference to be made. All these parties are gunning for the same bs, and nobody knows the difference anyways.
Most people voted progressive Conservative right, but why? Is it because these voters feel the Tories will run the province better and believe their political policies and ideas are the best offered? Do they like the candidate in their area, and again feel that person is the most qualified and will work harder then the rest and for the better? Or, now this is where it get interesting, and this is what I believe. Is it that they don't know why they voted for who they did, and really don't know anything about anything with regards to the matter, and just voted for the Tories the same reason they choose Players over Du Maurier?
*I don't mean to pick on the Tories by the way.
Ask someone why they voted PC, or Liberal, or whatever, you get the some phony, evasive and ambiguous answer. How many people really educated themselves on this election, and can justify and argue intelligently their pick? I don't think too many people. I really don't.
Now, suppose if the wrong party was elected we would all have to wear funny hats when we went outdoors, or give away half of our income to support some militia, I'd be the first in line to cast my vote.
So, I don't want to know who you voted for, I want to know why you voted?
