"After you have been using it about six months or so you can't have sex unless you are high," Holley said. "After you have been using it a little bit longer you can't have sex even when you're high. Nothing happens. It doesn't work."

Though it has it's "upside" when first using....

"The effect of an IV hit of methamphetamine is the equivalent of 10 orgasms all on top of each other lasting for 30 minutes to an hour, with a feeling of arousal that lasts for another day and a half," said Holley, who has interviewed meth-addicted men and women.

And can you believe this statement came out of the mouth of a government official talking at a conferance about the widespread use of this stuff??

"Who wouldn't want to use it? You lose weight and you have great sex," Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Laymon said sarcastically at the meeting of the Tennessee task force.

This stuff is everywhere in this part of the world, though I have no idea why here moreso than elsewhere, other than the fact you can hide in the hills whilst making it.

You left out:

"Hair falls out. Teeth fall out," Walters said. "That's not sexy."

lol....

When you say 'this part of the world' do you mean Calgary?

I have heard stories of small'ish communities in the States that have literally fallen apart and died. Where they have a hard time finding police officers, judges, local gov officials, etc., who are not addicts to go and fight the problem in the first place.....

transplant is in North Carolina I believe so he probably means there.

We hear a lot about the dreaded "grow ops" in Calgary but not much about this meth stuff.

Flip past the Spokane 11o'clock news and you'll likely catch a story about it there. Also, Hanna isn't just famous for Lanny McDonald and Nickleback anymore.

It's a big problem in the Flathead (Kalispell, MT) but the law enforcement stance on it is extremely aggressive as opposed to some other areas where its treated like pot.

Lots of meth lab busts in Drayton Valley the last few years. My old hockey coach has been in and out of jail many times recently for dealing. Most recently, he's wanted for attempted murder in trying to run over a cop. Seemed like a nice guy at the time, and probably even was...the drugs just destroyed his brains and ruined his life
