Default Working Visa for Americans??

does anyone know the requirments?? im kinda stumbling through the legal mumbo jumbo in trying to find out how i go about finding them....... My wife is from Calgary and she has a permanent resident status in the US now..... since we both work seasonal jobs now we thought instead of visiting for 2 weeks during christmas, we would take the 3 months when things are slow here and stay in calgary... of course she can get a job but i would like to get one too... how do i go about getting a work visa for this ....

thanks for your answers and your help

Immigrations Canada's website can probably answer it better for you than I ever could:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who.asp

and

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index.asp

Depending on what your qualifications are will depend on what you need to do. Do you have a degree in anything?

If you are just looking for a lower end job then there is a process that you need to follow. What kind of job where you looking at doing. As far as Fotzes remarks as you prety much need to be a PR to work is incorrect.
