Well the Blues lose 2-1 to the Preds. We didn't put forth much of an effort in this game, with only 23 shots on Lehtonen. Kessel and Ouellet are finally healthy, so that'll add a boost to the team. Newest Blue Marc Denis has a string game stopping 27 of 29.

The Sabers are 1-0 under interim GM CMPunk. Dave Scatcherd scores on the PP to win it, while Stempniak sits in the box for a kicking major. Giguere is back and healthy and stops 29 of 31 for the first star

Preds scrape by the Blues 2-1. Steve Sullivan pops in his 23rd goal of the season to showcase himself and try to land on a playoff bound team! Lehtonen plays well and holds on for the win to try to keep his record a winning one this season!

Well given the lineup I had to piece together, I'll take the tie, even if it is against another one of my fellow door mat teams.

The Oilers add another win, this time against the talented Pittsburgh Penguins. Edmonton controlled the play for most of the game, holding the edge in shots on goal. They also played incredibly disciplined, not giving the Pens any powerplay opportunities. Gagne, Grier, and Alfredsson scored three straight Oiler goals in the second period and it was looking as though the Oilers might earn a shutout until Joe Thornton put the Pens on the board with just over two minutes remaining.

Some scrubby AHL guy scored six goals against our team in the AHL, but that's alright. Our recent free agent signings scored three goals in that game.

Rozsival and Rachunek are set to come off the IR now, while Randy Robitaille takes their place.

Huge win by the Flyers to put them back in the play-offs.

Finally got some great goaltending, from the back-up, and the big guns showed up. The PP was great scoring all three goals and the PK killed off all 6 penalties. This is the way the team was expected to play and if they can keep it up they just might make the play-offs and even give some of the higher seeds a scare!

Tough game for the Pens as we were not able to get much going at all. The good news is our best dman Andrei Markov should be back in the lineup for the next game.

Nice job, Marty B!

Don't Panic Yanic, who is on our trade block, finishes the night with 3 points. New addition, Arron Asham, notches an assist.

Marek Svatos continues to kick major ass. Say hello to our silver lining. But...Erik Christensen is done for the season.

The 7 game win streak is over but we still gained a point. Thats 13 games now with at least one point.

Ollie Jokinen continues to be a bomb in Detroit. Though he has only played 3 games we will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Again its mostly the third line. Connolly was in on both goals and has to be the early favorite for player of the week!

Turco gave up more than 2 goals for the first time in 7 games.

Leafs 1 - Hawks 5

Well last game I didn't mind allowing 5 goals because we came back and won it. But now we've allowed 5 twice in a row. That's ty and once again Lundqvist was unsteady in goal.

We did outshoot the Hawks but didn't put one in the net until there was 30 seconds left.

Pretty even game against an equally bad game. Too bad the team got mad and Moen lost it taking a 4 game suspension.
