Another day another loss for the Preds. Pominville goes down late in the third (thanks a lot Brad Boyes!). This time its 3-1 for the 'Canes...next up are the Pittsburgh Penguins tomorrow night.

BOOM!

Sharks explode for 10 goals against the Rangers and are unexpectedly lead by Bryan Allen who had a goal, three assists and was a +5 on the night! Apparently we have enough fire power to make up for the loss of Cheechoo.

The win puts 8 pts between us and 9th place so we're feeling pretty good about the playoffs at this point...now to keep winning and catch the Kings!

Wow some crazy scores today. We never played today but after the results from today, 2 more teams were eliminated from catching us in the Gretzky. All that is left to get the x-Atlanta is to eliminate Ottawa which can happen as early as Tuesday.

I sure hope trading Tanguay today don't come back to haunt me. Another huge game for him today in his last as a Wing. In 5 games he had 10 points and is a +8. With 2 game winners a short hander and a power play goal. "gulp" Detroit is also on a 5 game winning streak that started with Tangs first game.

The first and third line's have both been producing big time. Its the third line that worries me. Despite 6 goals today they were again held off the score sheet

Marty Turco with his 3rd egg in the past 4 games. He is begging to show sign's of fatigue. Not sure if I should continue to ride the hot hand tomorrow or rest him up for the biggest game of the season on Wednesday night vs the Sharks.

Blues win a tight one over the Caps. Both teams launch 30+ pucks at the net. Emery stops 34 in the win.

We bring in Jackman for his defensive skills and all he does is put up 8G and 3A in 9 games including tonights GWG

5-5 tie when i out shot them 41-28. Line 2 was strong in the game, however Holmqvist was not solid in net, and hence we had to settle for a tie once again.

stupid aebischer... and stupid jets...

Well, we outshot the Jets 36-17 last night, but just couldn't pull out the victory... it happens... fortunately, the Nords also lost, but we'll have to maintain our relatively hot pace of late the rest of the way if we hope to make the playoffs...

Leafs fall to Devs 3-2.

Not a game we should be losing if we want to end up in the middle of the playoff pack- no offense to the Devils...

We just didn't play well enough here. It was a close game all around and they pulled it out. That breaks our 5 game win streak. And worse Langkow went down with an injury and he'll miss some time.
