The suspect is described as a black man about 25-30 years old, 5-foot-9 and wearing a black parka and black pants.

Should be an easy find in NYC

I find it shocking that a guy would carry a $100,000 around in his briefcase. Talk about stupidity and all. No sympathy from me.

Police, however, said Friday night there was no evidence of shots being fired.

Police say the victim is 50-year-old Seton Ijams, a talent manager at Columbia Artist Management located just a block away from the shooting scene.

That's some fine reporting there, Hazel Sanchez.

And not armed to the teeth? Or surrounded by others who are armed to the teeth.

Apparently the guy was walking one single block from the bank to his office, I can see somebody thinking it wouldnt be a big deal. Midtown in the daytime is pretty busy with business, so it's not completely out of the realm.

And besides that... $100,000 isn't exactly alot of money. Sure, it sucks to have it ripped off in cash, but not really that much money in the grand scheme of things.
I'd be surprised if the person that stole it didn't screw himself by overspending and therefore show up on the radar.

I wouldn't be suprise if it was an inside job or a scam. Seriously? What are the chances the robber would pick that guy with that breif case and it would have a $100K in it?
