has anyone sold anything using kijiji?
More importantly, if someone replied to you via email for an ad you placed, how does the email show up to you? to your regular email, and then you just do a reply?
I've asked a few people questions via email, and never hear back from any of them?

I have placed an add and sold something on kijiji. If a buyer has a question it appears in your in-box. You can respond to it like a normal email from hotmail, gmail, or whatever you use. If you haven't heard back from anyone it's likely they just simply did not respond.

Ive sold a few things on kijiji. And yes i just receive the emails in my inbox...standard stuff.

Rented my basement suite on there, I posted the ad last night at about 8 pm. First month rent and damage deposit in my hand by 2 pm.
I am curious of this as well, when I reply is it from my Gmail, or is it rerouted to Kikiji and sent from them?

I deleted the ad. It shows up as a email from Kikiji, and when I reply its from my Gmail account.

Yeah kijiji proxies the first email sent out so that they can hide your real email address from spammers, but when you reply it's a normal reply (since the reply-to will be the other person's real email address). If it went back through kijiji (i.e. kijiji hid your email addresses from each other) then the address would be some random looking email.

I get a lot of replies with Craigslist.com as well. I use Buysell and Kijiji.
