Well Since Sunday which is when I assume the POTW is determened from

the Following Senators have done decent.

Bates has 1 goal 7 assists in 2 games so far.
Back to back 4 point games.

Alfredsson has 3 goals (hat trick) and 3 assists in 2 games as well.

Varada, 3 goals and 3 assists in 2 games.

Those are my nominees for POTW so far. we also play tonight and Saturday.

As for games of the week for the Hurricanes, i can say i have both Tuesday against the Senators and Wednesday against the Thrashers circled and if luck enough to get past these three tough games then it's the streak killer against the Penguins on Saturday

Well Jay Bouwmeester has 1 goal and 2 assists in 3 games so far this week for the Oilers. Fellow rookie Nikolai Zherdev also has a goal and 2 assists in 3 games. They've been good as far as rookies go.

We nominate Jason Spezza for the Brick boy of the week award. Spezza has been garbage defensively, but still putting up points on the powerplay, going to house parties without any clothing, assuming every waitress at the bar wants him, and drunk for the last 96 hours. He's also been rumored to be after Vokun's wife too.
