If all these teams are SELLERS... then I am BUYING
Tampa has an abundance of youth and prospects available for the GMs that are now just starting to jump off cliffs.
Shoot me PM if you have any ideas.

Sorry Drew for piggy-backing but I have some draft picks and prospects available for teams looking to sell as well. Feel free to send a PM; I am also on MSN a fair bit.

Wild are buyers but hope to be smart buyers. We are looking for a 72/73ish type forward as well as a 71/72ish dman.
Willing to trade pick/prospect type stuff to do it. But not 1sts or elite prospects. Looking more like 2nds/2nd tier type prospects.

I'll buy if the price is cheap and I can win a one sided rape type deal. Something like what the Kings used to do to the Panthers earlier this season. I'd love to make a couple of those trades.

When's the trade deadline anyway? It's not on the main page anymore.

Its been a weird year..... lots of sellers but there doesn't seem to be to many folks wanting to add players....
Trades have been really slow the last little while...

It's the Cheese rule. The teams who want to buy can't take on any more salary due to the limit. I have two veteran guys I'd love to move for any type of return but likely won't because I traded off all my money.
As I discussed with a GM one evening on MSN. We now have more than enough fail safe mechanism's to help with parity in this league that the Cheese rule can go the way of the dodo bird. Let the teams who have the assets and want to improve keep pushing the bar and maybe some other teams will be forced to follow them. I used to like the Cheese rule, but now that we have the UFA grid in place of agents and a few other things I think it could go.
Sorry to derail the thread.

^ I noticed the same thing. No one really seems to think that they have what it takes, but no one wants to add the guys to try to make a run.

Victor, I've noticed the same thing as well. It seems people want to buy but are hesitant due to salary cap issues next year or Cheese cap limits. That's the biggest blockade I've come up against in my attempts to trade over the last couple of weeks.
