Dennis Wideman injured at 13:03 of the 2nd Period
Sheldon Souray ejected at 13:03 of the 2nd Period
Sheldon Souray receives 5 game suspension
Wow, not sure what Sheldon did there but Wideman has a knee injury and it out indefinitely. Poor dude has a 21 CD. Will he be back before the end of season? Friggin Souray just got back from injury and now has to sit another five games. Hopefully he will be nice and rested for the playoffs I guess.

That was a vicious hit, I think he deserved at least 20 games.

Can we complain to the league regarding the low suspension on that play?? Had a bad feeling about this game and now we lose a Norris Dman.
Stupid KG, Wideman is a key cog in the Ducks run to the playoffs this year!

This inexcusable event is going to shock the CPHL to its core.

interesting, after several games of outshooting the opposition and losing, we get outshot and win for the first time, in forever. A big game for our first line of Penner, Reinprecht and Fedotenko. the 2nd line of Stajan, Smyth and Lupul scored twice, but were minus players. luckily we didn't trade for Wideman

THe Bruins have no comment in relation to the rumours that coach Murray sent Sheldon out there to head-hunt Wideman.

Big 6-5 OT win for the Flyers!!!!
The firesale in Philly is over for one day!!!
however, if these bums lose again then everyone will once again be available.
More to come after GM moon is able to pick himself up off the floor after seeing this amazing result!
!!!!!!!!!! (needed to add a few more exclamation points to reach my quota for the day!!!)

Well, that isn't what you would call a goaltender's dual. Raycroft gets pulled after saving 16/21 shots, and Lehtonen gets yanked after saving 14/19 shots.
It was a full out barn burner tonight and all 7 goals came from different folks. Federov had 3 points, Jokinen with a couple, AO with a couple, etc.
Hopefully with the return of Lehtinen the games will tighten up defensively on our side. We are glad we got the win though.

Ouch.. Old fashion butt kicking by the Nords... We were in there after 1 but were blown away after that...Who would have that an injury to Cullen would affect the team so much....

The Preds drop a close one. It was a shoot out, where the final was 7-6 for the habs and the AHL was not much different.
Worst part...Erat goes down with an injury in the third period.

Just what the Nords need down the stretch... working on a win streak, and the team is starting to gel nicely.
Why in earth would I want to tinker with this line up... yet, I can't help but pick up the trade phone. Still looking for the right deal to bolster the blueline.

Sykora also got a 5 minute major for kicking. Apparently Erat's head was not a soccer ball.

It looks like Sykora needs to spend some time in the gym after that though....Erat is only out for a week!

It's now 8 games without a win.
Who will I get rid of next? Laraque is outta here back to STL for BJ's 4th and 5th rounders. Not a great investment by me.
And no I will not trade Daniel Sedin.
Danny Markov will be traded eventually.
