They sell the Panasonic TH-65PF10UK 65" plasma, for a great price of $5500. That is about $2500 than in Canada, and about $600 less than Visual Apex in Seattle (who on top of that will charge me State Tax of 8.9% even though I live in Alberta!)

Equipment Hall is based out of Kent, WA. They have an office there, but no store-front because they deal with primarly online orders. We have exchanged a number of emails and will talk tomorrow on the phone to order the TV. They will allow me to make a 10% Credit Card downpayment over the phone, then pay the balance in Money Order or Bank Draft when I pick up the TV in person at their office in Kent. They wont allow me to pay the full amount with a Canadian Credit card because they are charged a high % if they do so.
They seem reasonable, but I'm a little skeptical just because it is a good deal. I feel pretty safe using the CC for the downpayment since I can reverse that charge if they dont deliver me a TV.
Here is the problem; I have never heard of this retailer before. Can they be trusted? I cant find evidence of a scam - yet.
Has anyone heard of Equipment Hall Technology? Has anyone heard they are scammers, or better yet that they are legit? Any feedback would be much appreciatted.
