Default Be Very Careful on The Roads Everyone

The city street are an absolute mess right now, just frozen over with glaze ice. Be very careful, down in the foothills it's utterly terrible. Any reports on highway conditions? Why can't this city have sanding trucks out, we knew this storm was coming.

They're too busy debating the length of lawn.

Just came in from Whitecourt and they were pretty bad the whole way. Q.E. from Red Deer was pretty bad.

Just got home in Turner Valley. 22 and 22x are in good winter driving conditions. Can't say the same about Anderson and 37th St. There was a good 3 car accident on 37th by the reservation entrance. And for some reason those streets must not be major enough to receive plowing or sanding. So what is two lanes looks like one

Lots of snow here in High River. Roads are a bit of a mess also. Nearly got side swiped by a semi going home from the dentist. Asshat took the corner to wide.

My brother was moving out to Vancouver this morning and is stuck in Golden for the day.

22x isn't bad, but driving down Deerfoot from Barlow to 22x I could barely see the guy infront of me from all the blowing snow. The roads themselves were okay with all lanes visible except the right lane.

Saw 3 accidents on the way home though and one dude in a pickup with 2 Flames Flags on his windows pulled over by a cop on 22x by Cranston. Anybody we know?

How did you know the semi was coming from the dentist?

I WAS going to stay home, but now I have to go out and do some work up in the NE. I'm gonna see how many pedestrians I can mangle on the way - wish me luck!

We've been hammered with accidents all day....majority of them being in the south east near the foothills/ogden/shepard areas. A lot on barlow....a few on 130 av se....be safe out there.

AMA has traffic cameras on the highways, so you can look in real time. THings look pretty nasty down Lethbridge way right now.

I'd personally recommend taking deerfoot...probably have had the least amount of calls per volume on the deerfoot than anywhere else. IMO, deerfoot is the best maintained road in Calgary.

Yeah, I will, it's just getting out of the park that can be a pain.

For f's sake... It's the wifes grandpas birthday today, so apparently we have to go over there for dinner so looks like I get to go out and drive in this b.s. weather at least twice more tonight. After the crap week at work the last thing I wanna do is drive over there, in this, and put on a fake smile for the next four hours.

F me.
