I'm pretty sure they are not a cell provider; but a long distance provider. Meaning if you have a phone with Telus- instead of paying the 25¢ per minute that Telus chrages for long distance, you can sign up with Yak- then call their local number and get your LD call routed through them.
I used to use their 10-10 number when I had my landline through Telus, and they were OK. Nothing special, and you couldn't get through during peak times like Christmas day.
