Been a bad year for avalanches all over. A massive one a couple of weeks ago on the backside of Big Mountain (out of bounds) killed 2 guys and 3 more narrowly escaped with their lives. You guys probably heard about it in Calgary I would imagine.

There was an avalanche here in So Cal last Friday that killed three out of bound skiiers/snowboarders. People on the mountain should take more urgently the warnings on going out of bounds.
