Atlanta would like to congratulate 4 Thrashers players for making the all-star team!
Defensman Darryl Sydor was voted in by fellow GM's to start the game.
Joining him on the team is Center Rod Brind'Amour, LW Martin St.Louis and defenseman Rob Blake. The Thrashers would like to congratulate the 4 of these players as well as all the other Gretzky Conference players who are looking forward to beating the Howe at the All-Star Game!

Quebec would like to congratulate... no one.
Their hottest start in franchise history... hottest start in expansion team history... and no love. That's OK, we like under the radar. From my experience, it's not often the top teams walk out with the championship at the end of the year. No big deal.

We should deduct $50,000 for every player you voted for on your own team... grand total -$150,000
and no I didn't count Kris or Kevin's (NYI) ballet stuffing selections

Easier said then done, in fact out of the twelve Defenceman selected 10 of the 12 you also picked yourself. Sean Hill and Sergei Zubov being the remaining two that didn't make the cut. Guys like Hill were selected but they picked up the odd vote here and the odd vote there. It's nice to see guys like Foote make it, and for the season Hill is having it would have been nice, but players like this are going to have to make up a bigger part of your/our selections before we'll see their numbers adding up in total votes and thus seeing an impact on making the teams.
