Science Cafe is a place where, for the price of a cup of coffee or pint of beer, you can learn about the latest ideas and issues in science and technology in an informal setting. It’s not a lecture! It’s a place for group discussion and audience involvement is the most important ingredient. Science Café is a global phenomenon, and in Calgary it is hosted by TELUS World of Science - Calgary and the University of Calgary. It is held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Unicorn Pub on the fourth Tuesday of the month from September to November and January to May. To RSVP, or to receive notification of upcoming Calgary events, send an e-mail with your name and e-mail address to sciencecafe@ucalgary.ca.
