I thought it was a pretty good fight for two old-timers. Jones is still fast and he was hamming it up for the crowd pretty good. Trinidad looked better than I expected and showed a lot of heart. Hopefully he retires for good now. I'd rather see a Jones/Calzaghe match-up than Hopkins/Calzaghe or Hopkins/Jones.

Steve Molitor also fought last night, defending his IBF world title. He looked great doing so. I almost think he's ready to take on one of the division's other champs now, although at this point I think Ponce de Leon is the only one he has a realistic chance of beating. He sure has proven he belongs with the best.

Trinidad looked really good in the first three rounds landing lots of body punches but it didn't really seem like it was doing any damage with jones constantly taunting him saying he could take those shots. The first knockdown was kinda cool with the delayed reaction. Overall a good fight for two "old timers". I'd like to see the Jones/Calzaghe match too if not for the boxing then for the showboating Jones Jr would pull. You can't help but love it.

Calzaghe's quite the show-boater too..it'd be pretty interesting.
