Default Mr. Glass done for the year.

Imagine what would have happened to him if the Chargers actually put Dickenson into a NFL game?

Time for the most brittle guy in football to retire and enjoy the rest of his life.

You can't screw around with head injuries, and DD should never have even tried to come back. As much as I'm sure he could still be a marquee QB, his head just shouldn't take any more abuse.

Yikes, I would think that is it for Dave Dickenson... I wonder if Crandell will be signed by the Stamps?

DD should become a QB coach or offensive coordinator.

Too bad to hear but I was skeptical on why he didn't retire earlier with his history of head injuries. I think we've seen the last of DD.

Good to hear that Burris is back for Friday evening. The Stamps need a huge effort and win on Friday. Go Stamps!

The worse thing is I don't even remember a play where he got rocked. So a minor hit took him down. I guess like the Flames and Kipper, if Burris goes down we are done.

The Riders are 7-2 without a legitimate CFL QB.

Have you been fastforwarding the PVR when our defence is on the field? hehe

Hmmmm don't forget, it's Nealy and Sankey.

Glad to hear Dickenson is finally listening to his body.

Sorry to see him go and best wishes in whatever endvour he chooses to take in the future. A class guy all around.

Sorry to hear that.

Very proud of Dave. So loved it when he beat Randy Moss, Chad Pennington and the Thundering Herd of Marshall for the National Championship in 1995!

I was afraid that it will happen eventually. It is too bad because Dickerson is one of the brightest and classiest guy in the CFL. I am sure he'll stay with the Stamps and start learning the ropes as an assistant coach someday. That play wasn't really that bad but I guess it was bad enough for Double D to get a concussion reoccurence.

Good luck DD!

Amen Brotha,
As much as I hate the Griz, that was a great time to be from Montana.

Before the Cats and Griz began taking every clown from a California CC or Texas JC. Before all of the arrests, and allegations...

He was robbed of the Walter Payton Trophy that season. Steve McNair had lesser numbers, yet had the media on his side. McNair, always overrated, throughout his career.

Agreed, it didnt even look like that much of a shot when he got hit, it was on the play he scrambled on(I think). Too bad, I was actually quite excited to see what he could do when Burris went down, I've always loved DD. Too bad this has been the theme of his career. I remember going to McMahon in '99 and '00, and every time Dickenson would get hauled down, you could hear the entire stadium holding its breath until he got up(and quite a few times he wouldn't get up)

Well, it's very unfortunate for him and the Stamps. In retrospect, probably not the best idea to give significant practice reps to a guy who ended up only playing a couple quarters, when those reps would have been better served going to Nealy.

Burris needs to look at the two successful drives in Monday's game: his first drive, when he was quick and accurate (and all the receivers were holding onto the balls); and then DD's drive, which was full of misdirection and was really frustrating the Esks. Burris needs to learn from Dickenson how to run a strong, running and misdirection drive like that. Actually, I think Burris was doing that better earlier in the season, but has lately settled into more of a pocket passer who would occasionally take off.

What is them? Shoes? Skates? It's not hockey TSN staff writers...

This is a real shame. Especially after that first drive went so well. I kinda don't remember the rest of the game...

Marcus Crandel anyone?
