THRASHERS CLINCH A PLAYOFF SPOT! OR DO THEY?

Apparently after tying the Wild 2-2, the SIM seems to think we have clinched a playoff spot by putting an X beside the Thrashers even though we feel we are 1 point short of still clinching. Weird.

Anyways, Atlanta ties the Wild 2-2 despite being outshot 32-20. Not a great effort but we were called for a lot of penalties tonight which seemed to be a big part of the shot count.

Thrashers play the Senators tomorrow. As mentioned, the SIM put an x-Thrashers today but we feel we are still 1 point short of clinching a playoff spot so we'll look to do that tomorrow.

karma's a pain in the arse. After injuring 2 guys yesterday, Zidlicky gets hit with a 4 game suspension and both Van Ryn and Corvo get injured for DD status. Once again we injure two of them, but losing 3 of our top 4 defencemen will hurt, and will need to make a move to fill in the lack of Defence now .

Good win in other terms i guess, but it should be a guaranteed over the Jets. 4-1 with the points being spread apart. Out shot them 32-24, just a nasty game with 4 injuries and 1 suspension combined.

Le Woof!

Yotes win 5-2 over the Nords. Led by Sakic and Rucinsky's 3 points each Phoenix got the important 2 points in the western conference playoff chase.

Toskala kicked aside 24 shots for his 29th win on the year.

The damn injury bug comes back to failure territory (Phoenix) and this time zaps
d-man Filip Kuba for an undetermined amount of time.

A healthy team is a fantasy for us! The Hawks are in town tomorrow, then the Stars, then the Thrashers, then finally the Hurricanes. IR will be a big factor in the playoff push for Phoenix!

Wow, another win for the Devils. We're on a bit of a roll of late. I thought FOR SURE after we traded our draft pick to Grant that we'd sink down in the standings. Panthers keep on winning, of course, when I need them to lose. Come on, guys, you have enough wins already. Think of everyone else in the league!

One of our best games a very long time. Outshot a good team and should've won, but we'll take the point.
