Kilt & Caber in McKenzie Towne always has a haggis dinner special and usually tries to get entertainment in. They've had Irish Dancers and Bagpipers and Drummers in the past.

Limericks has haggis on their menu, so if you just wanna get out and have some of that you can head there, but they don't have any sort of fanfare for the evening.

My wifes grandfolks are preparing a big Scottish dinner for me and my old man because they've forced their German heritage on me for all these years so they want to do something to accomodate my heritage. So I'm looking forward to a big haggis dinner, mashed neeps and taters, roast beef, scotch eggs and the like.

I'll probably surprise 'em and recite Burns' Address to a Haggis afore dinner.

I'm British on my dad's side and Scottish on my mom's side and, since the British don't do anything fun, I figured I would embrace the sheep-shaggers and maybe go out on Burns day this year.

I opened the Fridge this morning and saw a pretty massive stuffed sheep stomach sitting on the bottom shelf so it looks like it will be Haggis, neeps and tatties on Friday... and a good single malt to wash it down.

Here are some pics from the last Haggis supper we had.. kind of looks like an Alien Egg when it comes out of the pot.

Couldn't find my sword But we did soak it in Scotch for 24 hours before we cooked it... It was awesome. Totally expected haggis to be disgusting but I love it.
