I was going to start a similar thread a few weeks ago. My wife is set to go back to work in February so we're looking for a good day home or child care for our daughter.

Are there any spots open at these places or is this something I should have been looking into about 2 years ago? I've heard good places have waiting lists more than a year long...

The place I work for has two daycares, but it doesn't accept babies. I believe they charge $700/child. Both daycares are within a block from each other, between Centre St and 1st st sw and between 14 ave and 17 avenue. PM me if you would like the contact info.

Our plans for February kinda fell through so we're back to square one.

Does anyone know a day care or day home facility that they would recommend that may have space available on short notice?
