Default Whre to take an Integra for repairs?

My girlfriend drives a 95 Integra. Up until last week the clutch was working, but now it seems that she needs a new one. She needs to get this done quickly, but she is a student, so price is going to have to be considered. I will be calling some places to get estimates for the job tomorrow, but I was hoping CP could save me some time. Does anybody have any suggestions of where I should be calling? I expect the Honda and Acura dealers will be fairly expensive, but I don't know of any other places to take it that would be as trust worthy.
Also, has anybody had to get this job done recently? I'm just looking for a ball park estimate of what kind of price I should be expecting.

Thanks again CP.

I would avoid a dealership.. Since its just a clutch on a fwd you can expect to pay between $750-1200 for replacement.. Depends how *&^tty the job really is, and whether or not they need to replace the slave cylinder, or have the flywheel machined.. Personally I'd just find a trustworthy neighbourhood mechanic..

Yeah, I would make sure whether it is really necessary to replace the whole clutch kit (unlikely) or just a part (say clutch disc). Also, for such an old car, I would buy aftermarket product (not OE), preferably Sachs or LUK.

I'm in Varsity.

Thanks for the pointers to a independent shop. That is my instinct, but I'm not really from Calgary, and the car I drive is under warantee...so I take it to the dealer for repairs, hence, I don't know any independent guys that I should be trusting of.

Well, I just went with my friend to take his care here: http://option-import.com/ yesterday. The guy that owns this shop is a friend of a friend who I've met several times and can vouch for on a personal level as someone who absolutely won't screw you over. He worked at an Acura dealership for years before opening this shop. His prices are really good.
