Default Heater/Air Conditioner

Hey guys. So my room gets really hot in the summer and really cold in the winter. Is there a heater and A/C machine in one? How much? And where can I get one?

I've never seen one. Why would you need that kind of combo anyways? Furnace not working? Can't see that working out well anyways. Airconditioners need to be hung out an open window, wouldn't be practical in the winter.

It's working fine. It's just in the winter, there's no point in me turning the heat up in the entire house when its just my room that needs warming up. And in the summer, my room gets too hot to sleep sometimes

There are all kinds of them ..... Stand up units that are vented to the outside for the AC... with a hose and window ...thingy...

We have one we only use in our room in the summer and basement in the winter.. I look for a link..

Ya I guess that makes sense. A stand alone AC unit that will cool a single room will set you back about $200. You could buy a small heater for like $40 or even a electic blanket or something. I really don't think you can get a heater/cooler in the same unit but I haven't really looked for one either so you never know.

Wow. Thanks for the link. That looks awesome, but for $650?? I don't know. I wonder if Wal-Mart or Zellers have anything cheaper

I'm sure they do maybe costco or something.. I've seen them around other place. Dispite the fact it's rather expensive, it works well, can be moved around to any room you might need it in, and doesn't hang on the outside of your second story window...

Wow, I stand completley corrected. I honestly had no idea you could get both in one unit. That'll learn me.
