Mighty tough part of the sked coming up for the Raps. Seven in a row on the road. Can they be Flames like and win 5 or even six in a row? I doubt it very much.
I'm calling it like this :
at Clippers --- Win
at Portland -- Win
at Seattle -- Win
at Phoenix -- Loss
at San Antonio -- Loss
at Houston --- Loss
at N.O --- Win
One game over .500 is my prediction. Whaddya think Raps fans?
Well not a big basketball fan, but I can't argue with the results you have posted. Maybe a win in Houston and loss to New Orleans is the only thing I'd change up. They should finish 3-4 at worst, and it's likely 4-3 is the best they'll do.
They certainly falter each time against the top teams. Boston has their number but then they have everyone else's as well. Phoenix killed them last time they played. San Antonio's defense should do them in for sure.
Maybe and it would be a HUGE maybe they can get hot from the three point line and outshoot Nash and Co.
A good recovery in the 2nd half of the opening game of the swing. They showed some rare defensive intensity though to be fair they have been improving in this area. Bargnani actually got with it in this game and played tough defense. Jamario Moon had a great alround game and keyed much of the defensive swarming.
If they are going to play with defensive intensity I might ramp up my prediction a bit.
Should be an investigation into the crew of so called refs working this game. If they weren't on the take then they are either homers or incompetent. About as incompetent as the Raps defense.

News on the TJ Ford front not looking good. Won't play on the road trip and going from specialist to specialist. That usually seems to happen when a guy is hearing bad news and wants a second opinion.
I sure hope he isn't being told that he is done as a player.
Yeah, and they've always matched up well against Houston (5 of the last 7), so a .500 road trip now looks like a possibility. I wish I could watch the game tonight, but instead I'll be following the game with rapt attention.
