Default Forum spammer gets seriously own3d

1st they call out a member for spamming their forum.

Then they find more info about him (name and address and telephone number) via whois.

Spammer denies it. Threatens board.

Then they post a picture of him. With his car.

They then find out he was a criminal sex offender, and post links.

Beautiful! And freaking hilarious to read.

The OP deleted his original message but if you look at some of the quoted text below you can see how much of an idiot he was...

The large assortment of "Owned" graphics are almost as good as our LOLCats thread. This one brought out the nerd in me and made me LOL for a while...

Wow... haha, that guy seriously got owned there. Is it really that easy to get all the information about people off of a forum?

No, usually not. He got caught as he was flogging his gambling site, so he posted his website address, which can be used to at least find out name and address of the registered owner of the site address.

Man that was great.

Being a sex offender didn't help neither...

Good god.

That's right up there with the hit and run driver that got nailed on beyond.ca (iirc).

P-p-p-powerbook is still my favourite of all time though: http://www.zug.com/pranks/powerbook/

This guy kinda proves why the "criminal mastermind" is just a myth. Half the internet is going to know that those two websites are run by a convicted pedophile now. Not the best move for Nick.

Wow. And then he was never heard from again. These conspiracy theories write themselves.

I remember the Beyond incident, that was classic.

My God, that NSX thing was an awesome read. I almost registered just to say I found it through here. Everything else to this point appears to be car-related.

What makes this not so amusing is that what he did wouldn't even be a crime in this country.

Takes the shine off what on the surface looks like a hilarious thread. Still pretty funny though.
